Hiiti Sillo is the Unit Head, Regulation and Safety within the WHO department of Regulation and Prequalification. Until August 2021, he wasthe Team Lead, Regulatory Systems Strengthening (RSS) within the Regulation and Safety Unit. Before joining WHO in January 2018, he was the Director General of the Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA). Mr. Sillo is a pharmacist with extensive experience in regulation of medical products at the national, regional and global levels.
